Terms of service

The service

SalonBook is a tool for salons and beauty parlours to keep customers, bookings, bills, staff sales, payments and reminders. It does not give legal or tax advice. You remain responsible for your records and for the GST shown on the bills you issue.

Your account

• You sign in with your mobile number; keep your phone and sign-in codes safe.
• You must run a salon, parlour or beauty business and be at least 18 years old.
• You are responsible for everything done under your account.

Customer data and consent

You confirm that you have your customers' consent, or another lawful basis, to record their details and to send them messages, including WhatsApp reminders. The data processing terms form part of these terms.

Plans and payment

• New salons get a free trial of a paid plan. After it, the free plan applies unless you subscribe.
• Paid plans renew automatically each month or year through Razorpay until cancelled. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the plan stays until the paid period ends.
• If a plan ends while you use more than the free plan allows, you keep full access for a grace period and can then still view your records, but cannot add customers or payments until you upgrade or get within the limit.
• Extra message packs are one-time purchases and are not refundable once used.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice; changes apply from your next renewal.

Acceptable use

Do not use SalonBook to send spam or messages people did not agree to, to store data you have no right to, or to attack or overload the service.

Availability and liability

We work to keep the service available and your data safe, but we provide it "as is". To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect losses.

Ending your account

You can stop using SalonBook and delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms, after notice where possible.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Contact [email protected] first; we will try to resolve any issue within 30 days.
